Donald H. Moyer Jr, 81

Donald H. Moyer Jr, 81, of Clarks Summit, formerly of Upper Darby, PA died Tuesday morning, February 24, 2015 at Regional Hospital in Scranton, PA.

He was the husband of the late Violet Lee Schafer Moyer.

Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Donald H. Sr. and Elizabeth Fleetwood Payne Moyer.

Surviving are two sons Donald H. Moyer III, Clarks Summit; and Albert Moyer and his wife Daniela, S. Abington Twp.; a daughter Deborah Curmaci and her Fiancé Jack Zborovian, Duryea; five grandchildren Matthew, Brad and Greg Moyer, and Angela and Michael Curmaci, and former wife Carlene Howard, Clarks Summit. He was preceded in death by a grandson Joseph Curmaci Jr.

He was a graduate of Philadelphia High School and served two years in the Naval Reserve.

Prior to his retirement he was a grocery clerk and seafood manager for Super Fresh Markets in Philadelphia.

Don was a life member of the Upper Darby Fire Police District #7 and the Wildwood Villa Fire Company. He also enjoyed buying and selling antiques as well as an auctioneer.

Family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 7pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State ST. Clarks Summit Pa. 18411.

Family and friends are also invited to his Funeral Service 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike at Lynn Blvd., Upper Darby, Pa. 19082, 610-449-0300, where friends may call 12:00-2:00 PM. Interment will at Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA.
