Danny R. Yohey, Sr., age 60

Danny R. Yohey, Sr., age 60, of Wallingford PA, died suddenly Thursday, April 24, 2014.
Danny was a member of the Teamsters Local 312, and worked with Congoleum Corporation, Trainer, PA, for 20 years. He was an active member of the Garden City Fire Company, Wallingford, PA, and a former member of Brookhaven and Parkside Fire Companies.

Danny served as the 6th District Fire Police Captain for Garden City Fire Department. Danny was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Danny cherished spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed country music and his dogs.

Danny was predeceased by his parents Charles D. and Rosa E. Snyder Yohey; brother of the late Wayne Yohey.

Survivors: Wife of 41 years: Susan M. (Lawrence) Yohey, Daughter: Elaine K. Yohey Mastro (Christopher) of Newark, DE, Son: Danny R. Yohey, Jr. (Charleen O’Connell) of Wallingford, PA, Sister: Geraldine J. Kosek, Grandchildren: Jarrett, Jessica and Jocelyn, Life-time Friends: Susie and Jerry Worrell and Shirley MacColl. Also survived by Nieces, Nephews and Friends and Brothers of the Garden City Fire Company

Funeral Service: Thursday 11:00 AM, at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rt. #352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Township, Media, PA
Visitation: Wednesday evening from 6:30-8:30PM and Thursday after 10:00 AM, at the funeral home. Interment: Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA.
